Stretch & Flex Class 10:30 to 11:15 – Carol Moll, Instructor

Split the Pot Tickets on sale until 11:30 am at front desk. See Janet Welcome, Becky Higley.   

Gather and Dine menu is Tuna Noodle Casserole, Mixed Vegetables, Brussels Sprouts, Corn Muffin and Sugar Free Vanilla Pudding.  To sign up call before 1 pm on Wed,  518-363-4020.  Just a quick reminder, no one is allowed in the kitchen without permission during food prep or service. 

Special Board Meeting will meet at 12:15. 

General Meeting begins at 12:30. and will be followed by a special board meeting. 

Upcoming Elections- This year the membership will be voting for President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Officer, and two directors.   Members may run for office after 1 year of membership.   

Today is the last day for letters of intent stating why you would like to run with your qualifications will be accepted.  Nominations will be accepted from the floor today.  Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Officer have special requirements to fill and a job description will be available.  Letters may be delivered to any member of the nominating committee:  Alison Bodle, Sue Heimburg, Bernadette Putnam, Sally Snyder and Madeline Waller.  They may also be mailed to BASC, Nominating Committee, 310 Northline Rd, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. and any nominations from the floor will be accepted that day.   Next week , November 20, candidates will read their letter of intent to the membership.  Voting will be on December 4 from 9 am to 11 am.  

Friday, November 14-

Exercise class meets from 11:15 to 12:00- Alison Bodle Instructor 

Paint and Sip glass painting class creating Christmas decorations from 2 to 4 pm.   Cost is $15 and is due upon signing up.  You can still sign up if you call Alison, at 518 288 3565. Snacks and drinks provided. 

Festive Dinners- Tickets for the December 6 dinner will be on sale at the front corner desk.  The dinner will be held at the Milton Community Center on Saturday December 6.  Tickets must be purchased in advance. Cost is $15 per person. 

2026 Membership Membership dues for 2026 may be prepaid. See Lisa at the front table. All renewals require the completed membership form which is at the bottom of this eblast.   

Dues may also be mailed to Membership Chair, 310 Northline Rd, Ballston Spa, NY 12020 . All checks must be made out to BASC.  

Donations for Food Pantry-  Items for the local food pantries can be placed in the clear bin at the sign in table.  Please no outdated food. 

Ill & Deceased- Please let us know of any member who has a health issue or has passed, so we can send a card or a memorial.   Contact Linda Elmer at 518-885-4839 or email her at lle1202@yahoo.com.

If you have an event update or information on future events, please email your information and copy that you wish shared to megstevens@nycap.rr.com by the Saturday prior to the next week’s eblast.   

Facebook update- Due to being unable to access the previous Facebook page, we now have a new Facebook page- It is Ballston Area Senior Citizens.   It will be updated on a regular basis so please like our new page.  

Due to my illness ( I have my recurring travel bug), there will be no eblast for the week of November 17-21.

Membership dues run from January 1st thru December 31st

All new members pay $15, then the following:

$15.00= 55+ years        $10.00=Turned 80 in 2025         FREE= Turned 90 in 2025

Enclose check payable to BASC Membership.  Membership dues may be paid at Thursday luncheon meetings from 10am to noon.  Please fill out even if over 90.
